A French mother is getting some attention for giving a “hobo” her leftover pizza she didn’t realize he was Richard Gere being filmed for a movie. According to the New York Post, she’d just left Little Italy with her family when she saw the “hobo” digging through the trash.
She offered him their leftover pizza, and he took it saying, “Thank you so much. God bless you,” according to the New York Post. She didn’t know who he was until she saw herself in the New York Post a few days later. Gere was in New York City filming scenes for “Time Out of Mind,” in which he plays a homeless man.
