Remember the nurse who shared a post on her Facebook page a few days ago thanking God she was not infected before she actually tested positive to the virus has died. Justina Obi Echelonu, was one of the primary contacts who participated in the initial management of the index case, late American-Liberian, Patrick Sawyer, at the First Consultant Hospital, Obalende, Lagos.
She is the second nurse and fourth fatality of the Ebola Virus Disease in the country. Another Nigerian doctor, who was part of the team that treated the late Liberian-American, Patrick Sawyer, has fallen victim of the Ebola virus.
May her soul rest in peace and we hope we don’t record more deaths
