Former coach of Nigeria’s senior female football team (Super Falcons), Ntiero Effiom is no more. He died on Tuesday in Cross River state after he suffered a stroke. Effiom will be fondly remembered for successfully guiding the Falcons to their fifth straight African Women’s Championship title in 2006.
He retired from Civil Service last year September. May his soul rest in peace … amen!
