Founder of Living Faith Ministries, David Oyedepo who owns Covenant and Landmark University is set to build 4 more universities in Africa to the already existing ones which will bring it to a total of 7. The head pastor of Winners Chapel world wide made the surprising announcement during the celebration of his 60th birthday at Canaanland headquarters of his ministry in at Ota, Ogun State.
According to City People, Oyedepo gave an address in the presence of his invitees which included past presidents and governors of states. He said though he has built 2 successful universities with another 2 about to be established in Nigeria, the grace of God upon his life was not done yet.
The preacher announced to the stunned audience that 2 more universities would be added to the existing 2, making a total of 4 in Nigeria, a fifth university will be built in Ghana, a 6th in Kenya while the 7th would be in South Africa.
Apart from Universities he established, Oyedepo who is reputed to be Nigeria’s richest pastor also established many nursery and primary schools nationwide (called Kingdom Heritage Schools and Faith Academy respectively), a publishing house (Dominion Publishing House), and private jets (which numbered 4 in the last count) and a host of other investments.
