The Lagos state government has declared today October 15 as a horn-free day in the state. The originators of this concept, geared towards reducing/eliminating noise pollution, should be commended.
To ensure that October 15 is observed as a horn-free day, Governor Babatunde Fashola Lagos of State gave out the charge on the first Lagos Drivers’ Appreciation Day, a programme organised by Lagos State Ministry of Transportation aimed at sensitising drivers on good driving culture.
