The event organisers have stated that All Africa Music Award will take place on December 27 with long-reigning star artiste, 2Face Idibia, and Congolese Madinga Maria set to host the show. AFRIMA was to hold last November but it was postponed due to logistic challenges.
While 2Face remains a household name on the continent, Maria is “a towering height of 1.78m. She looks every inch a model and is the hottest female broadcaster in Kinshasa, the Democratic Republic of Congo. Her musical show, Cite de Star is the biggest music show in of Congo.”
Supported by ONE, Africa 2.0, Nigeria’s ministries Industry, Trade and Investment, Culture, Tourism as well as the National Orientation Agency and PRMAFRICA, AFRIMA is being sponsored by Kenya Airways, Procter and Gamble, Peugeot, Diamond Bank, Uber among others.
