The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has re-appointed Stephen Keshi as coach of the national team. Keshi, whose future has been the subject of speculations for almost 10 months, put pen to paper on a two-year deal in Abuja on Tuesday. His previous contract ended after the 2014 World Cup, where he led the Super Eagles into the second round.

They were beaten 2-0 by France in Brasilia. He however continued to work on a per-game deal, as Nigeria failed to qualify for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea. Keshi’s appointment also sees a few changes. Former assistant coach Daniel Amokachi has been dropped and he will be replaceds by one-time Kano Pillars manager Salisu Yusuf who will be fully in charge of the home-based Eagles team.
Congrats to both parties!
