A bus carrying more than 30 British children has crashed and overturned on a Belgian motorway reportedly leaving the driver dead and others injured. The coach, carrying children from independent Brentwood School in Essex, is thought to have hit a bridge pillar on the E40 motorway and ended up in a ditch below.
Emergency workers were called to the scene earlier this morning to free trapped passengers, with a local police spokesman saying there were 34 children, aged 11 to 13, and eight adults on board.
