According to Tosin – “The reason why Olori Supergal created this online campaign is to create awareness on Vitiligo and also to educate people about the skin condition, which produces large de-pigmented patches on the skin, using Social Media.“
The model for the campaign – Temilola Omoobajesu shared this message as call to others living with Vitiligo to share their unique beauty and not be ashamed of their skin. She said “Don’t let anybody’s opinion of beauty be your idea of what beauty should be. You need to accept and celebrate yourself before people will accept you. There is no need to be perfect to inspire people, let people get inspired by how you deal with your Imperfections.“
With individuals such as Temilola, model Chantelle Winnie and many others, Tosin is joining a host of people aiming to raise awareness and acceptance and end the stigma.
