40-year-old, Curtis Jackson, who is embroiled in bankruptcy proceedings in the States, revealed on Saturday that he was building a new house somewhere in Africa.
‘My crib is almost finished in AFRICA,’ he wrote on Instagram, with a video showing the home’s exterior. I’m gonna have the craziest House warming party ever. I’ll explain later. I got a good life Man.’
The new home comes as 50 Cent struggles to unload a multi-million dollar estate in Connecticut while countering $24million in lawsuits with a bankruptcy filing. In the video, a two-story, brown and white home is visible, surrounded by tropical trees. As workers sweep floors and apparently engage in various construction tasks, the footage pans across a moss-green swimming pool and expansive paved area.
50 Cent did not reveal where in Africa this house was, nor did he say how he had paid for its construction. The rapper’s stateside home in Farmington, Connecticut – an $8.5 million mansion once owned by boxer Mike Tyson – is not faring so well, with 50 Cent reportedly trying to sell or lease it.
