A former Minister of Education, Dr. Igwe Aja-Nwachukwu, has died in an Israeli hospital from an undisclosed ailment. The deceased, who served as Minister under the administration of late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, was 63 years old. The former minister’s younger brother, Festus Aja-Nwachukwu, who confirmed the death while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Abuja, said he died on Nov. 17th 2015.
He said the deceased was in the hospital for about 4 weeks receiving treatment, adding that his death certificate would reveal the exact cause of death.
