A female teacher of a primary school known as Zino Great Academy, located in the Badagry area of Lagos State reportedly forced some of the pupils aged between 3 and 9 years old to brush their teeth with sand. The offence for which the students were being punished was not disclosed by the source who witnessed the incident and shared the photos on Thursday, November 5, 2015.
The photos which have been afloat various social media showed the pupils diligently taking sand from the school compound with which they scrubbed their teeth while the teacher supervised them.Many internet users have blasted the teacher with different names after the photos went viral with some calling on the management of the school to sack her with immediate effect.The source whose identity was not disclosed said he confronted the teacher and asked her to stop the act but she paid deaf ears.
