Singer Justin Bieber is all grown up and clearing up the air on his first ever cover of GQ magazine. In the March issue, the ‘Purpose’ singer talks about his relationships, faith and career. On the cover of the magazine, he is spotting a more dapper and clean look than we’re used to seeing him in, except his facial hair, which makes him look more like a boy facing puberty.
The 21-year-old singer also settled any rumors about his hit single, “Sorry,” an infectious hit many felt was a personal apology for all his mistakes. The singer explained, “People ran with that, that I was like, apologizing with that song and stuff. It really had nothing to do with that . . . It was about a girl.”
As a matter of fact, Bieber’s public-apology tour wasn’t really about forgiveness, instead he was acknowledging past mistakes. “Everyone when they start growing up realizes, ‘Man, I did some dumb shit when I was younger,’” he says. “It’s not just me . . . If I could go back I wouldn’t really change much. I think it’s all my journey. That stuff made me who I am.”
