Stacey Flounders, the mother of Johnson’s one-year-old daughter, insisted she and the former Sunderland winger would ‘remain friends’ as she gave evidence at Bradford Crown Court. Miss Flounders (pictured leaving court today with Johnson, left and right, and arriving there with him earlier, centre) wiped away tears as she described how the 28-year-old had told her ‘everything’ about kissing a 15-year-old girl when he returned home after being questioned by police.
Asked if he talked about other things during their heart-to-heart, she said:
‘The other women that he cheated on me with.’
Miss Flounders, who has not been in court since last Tuesday, told the jury she had initially stuck by Johnson after his arrest because he was ‘honest’ with her. It was the first time that the trial has heard that Johnson and his girlfriend are no longer an item.
