Adele experienced the full spectrum of emotions as she picked up Best British Single, Best British Female Solo Artist, Mastercard British Album Of The Year and the unexpected Global Success Award.
Though she narrowly missed out on a fifth gong in the British Artist Video of the Year category, the 27-year-old’s reactions to each of her four prizes was different, at first experiencing hilarity that she almost fell up the stairs, later gushing enthusiastically about her boyfriend Simon Konecki’s support and finally apologising for her ‘ugly cry face’ after a priceless tearful outburst.
In her speech, she gushed about her boyfriend Simon Konecki and her son Angelo, saying: ‘I’m really sorry about swearing earlier and I’m really sorry for the ugly crying face. 
‘Thank you to the fans. I also want to give a massive thank you to my boyfriend, sorry I’m going to embarrass you. I’m so lucky to have you support me as you do.,, thank you for my lovely son, who is the love of my life. This is for you peanut!
Her boyfriend was then seen mouthing ‘I love you’ from the audience.
