New York-based lifestyle brand, Bicion, has partnered with sneaker to create the world’s most expensive sneakers, estimated at $4,000,000 USD. The silhouette of the sneakers, which is a Li-Ning Way of Wade titled, “The Fire Monkey,” was used to signify the beginning of Chinese New Year.
The sneakers features hundreds of carats of customized white diamond pieces and blue sapphires set in 18k gold, created exclusively by Bicion’s in-house jewelry engineers. Other features include blue, white, and gold colors in a flower pattern all over the upper and a solid gold hang tag with the embossed logos of both Bicion and Mache Customs.
The sneakers will be released with its official appraisal later this week at an exclusively private press event in New York City. Profits from the sale will be given to Soles4Souls, a non-profit global organization dedicated to fighting poverty through the collection and distribution of shoes and clothing.
