Former President Goodluck Jonathan’s 72-year-old uncle, Mr. Inegite Jonathan, who was allegedly kidnapped by gunmen on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, in Bayelsa state, has been released. A spokesperson for the Bayelsa Police Command, Asinim Butswat, who confirmed the incident, said:
“The victim has been released and reunited with his family but I am yet to get the detail.”
You will recall that the four policemen who were supposed to be protecting the uncle and foster father of former President Goodluck Jonathan, Inengite Nitabai at the time of his abduction, were arrested by the Bayelsa state police command.
