A sick troll on Facebook threatened to stab the father of a missing man and claims to have murdered his son before “burying him in water”. Police are hunting the sicko who sent the chilling messages to Allan Bryant senior through a social media page set up to help find his son, who has been missing since 2013, the Daily Record reports. The 50-year-old dad, who has campaigned tirelessly for information after Allan junior disappeared from a nightclub in Glenrothes, contacted officers after receiving the threat.

The troll wrote: “I’ve killed your son, you’ll never find him. I’ve stabbed him and buried him in water. You’re next, fat boy – you’re getting stabbed. How do you feel knowing we’ve killed your son?” Allan told how he was forced to block his front door with chairs overnight while police carried out regular patrols outside his home. But he has vowed that he will not be stopped from trying to find his son, who he believes has been murdered.Allan said: “I woke up on Saturday morning and started checking my messages.

“I had one from this guy saying, ‘I’ve killed your son, you’ll never find him. I’ve stabbed him and buried him in water. This was 5.55am and the messages continued until 2.14pm.It was totally out of the blue and I really don’t know very much about this individual. But then he said to me that I was next and he was going to stab me. I screenshotted all the messages and sent them to the police who have red-flagged the house. We were also told that there would be officers walking past the house all night so obviously the police know who this individual is and it must by quite serious judging by the way they’ve reacted. It does hurt. You’re just sitting there wondering if these people are for real. I put chairs up in front of my doors last night just in case.”

Allan has been battling to find information about his son’s disappearance since he went missing in the early hours of November 3, 2013, after leaving Styx nightclub in Glenrothes.
