The Thai ambassador to Australia called out producers of the weekly TV show, Have You Been Paying Attention? and asked for removal of portions dealing with Thailand. Chirachai Punkrasin, the ambassador to Canberra, wrote to Network 10’s Sydney headquarters complaining about a part of the show that apparently dealt with the death of King Bhumibol. The ambassador’s short letter said Monday’s segment on Thailand was a case of “mocking people who are feeling intense grief” and said it was “very inappropriaate, disrespectful and certainly not amusing”
