President Muhammadu Buhari has written a letter to the Senate seeking a ten day leave between Monday, January 23 to Monday, February 6 2017. According to the letter, vice president Yemi Osinbajo is to act as president in the absence of Buhari.The transmission of the letter to the Senate was in compliance with Section 145 (1) of the Nigerian Constitution.This would be the third time President Buhari would embark on leave since assuming power in 2015. This didn’t go down with nIgerians who thought it was insensitive for him at a time like this.
