Tanzanian socialite, Zari Hassan has spoken about her ex-husband Ivan Ssemwangawas’s death. Ivan was buried on Monday, May 29 after he died following a heart attack which was blamed on various things including loss of property to a conman, allegations that Ivan was poisoned. Zari said:
” Ivan was not poisoned, he had high blood pressure that he never took medication for and this was his undoing.
He got a stroke and was paralysed on the left side and later, a vein ruptured in his brain causing internal hemorrhage. ” Zari added.
On whether she was after his money, Zari revealed that her late ex-husband had nothing when she met him and they got everything together when they were married.
“I am calm because there are papers and really, I cannot fight for wealth because we shall leave everything on earth. “
