Lupita Nyong’o, who covered the latest edition of ‘The Hollywood Reporter’, talked about her insecurities, how it keeps her humble and also being sexually harassed by Harvey Weinstein.
“There is a part of me that will always feel unattractive.OK, because it will keep me grounded. I don’t need to be so full of myself that I feel I am without flaw. I can feel beautiful and imperfect at the same time. I have a healthy relationship with my aesthetic insecurities” she said.
Lupita who shared the story of her sexual harassment by Harvey Weinstein with New York Times last year, disclosed that she went to Harvey’s home – at his request – for a movie screening. Harvey asked her to massage him which she agreed to in panic. However when Harvey then told her he would take his pants off, she left.Lupita Nyong’o, who is part of the cast for Marvel film Black Panther, also disclosed that she agreed to act in the movie before she even got to read the screenplay.
