Former Member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon, reacted to open letter written by the former President Olusegun Obasanjo during an interview on Channels TV and also joined those campaigning and asking President Buhari to run for second term.
According to Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon who disagreed with some of the points raised by Obasanjo in his letter, the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led administration has performed well enough to deserve a second term.
The former Lawmaker who scored President Buhari high however, said the APC administration has not achieved all promised, saying it is not ‘eureka yet.’
“It is certainly not Eureka yet. But, the truth of the matter is that, given where we are coming from, this government has tried. We were in the cause of economic comatose and from the quagmire of recession, the government of President Muhammadu Buhari has been able to remove the economy from the jugulars of recession and has breathed vital life into Nigeria’s economy.”
