The flight was scheduled to arrive in Amsterdam, after a long-haul trip from Dubai.But it was forced to ground in Vienna, Austria, after the dispute.According to reports, a bloke on board was constantly farting showing no remorse for two Dutchmen who asked him to stop.
The men then proceeded to ask flight crew for help, but they were not able to contain the situation. As a result the pilot of the Dutch low-cost airline – Transavia Airlines – decided to make an emergency landing.Police then boarded the plane and four suspects were taken away.
A police spokesman confirmed the incident centred around a passenger suffering from wind who was not attempting to restrain himself and that this offended two young Dutchmen. Police also escorted two women off the plane, identified as Nora, 25, and her unnamed sister both from Rotterdam.
A spokesman for the airline told local media that the four people have now received a ban from any further travels, and in order to complete their journey they needed to find another airline to take them to Amsterdam.
