In a major reshuffle, Saudi Arabia’s King Salman has appointed Tamadur bint Youssef al-Ramah as deputy labour minister, a rare senior post for a woman in the conservative country. Tamadur will also discharge additional responsibilities in her previous post in social welfare and family departments.King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud reshuffled some of the kingdom’s top military officers and several deputy ministers including the female one on Monday.
Tamadur obtained her master’s degree from Wales Bangor University in 2003 and Bachelor degree from King Saud University in Riyadh.She was conferred on Ph.D in Radiology and Medical Engineering from Faculty of Medicine and Human Sciences at Manchester University in 2007.
