The ‘F1’ number plate is up for grabs if you have a spare £14.4 million ( N7.3billion) lying around. It will be the most expensive registration in the world, with the owner Afzal Kahn set to make a tidy profit on his £375,000 investment.
The F1 design, which could refer to Formula One racing, has proved popular. Mr Khan is said to have rejected a £6m offer four years ago and has now set the starting bid at £12m on Regtransfers.co.uk. This will increase to £14.4m once VAT and taxes are added.
