Prior to the news that made round recently about the exorbitant rise in medical fees of the University of Ibadan Medical students, the students are currently protesting about this selfish attitude of the school management.
University of Ibadan college of medicine released the fees schedule with the college of medicine increasing their fees by more than 200% from a cumulative sum of 35,000-45,000k before (school fees +clinical levy) to 139,000 + naira …
According to the college there will be subsequent increases as the minimum amount to train a doctor is up to 500,000+ naira..
