Real Madrid forward, Gareth Bale, has been spotted out and about for the first time since his Champions League final heroics. Welshman Bale scored a sensational double for Real Madrid against Liverpool in Kiev – the first an outrageous overhead kick before his power-strike for his second breached Loris Karius’ hands.
The brace set up a 3-1 victory and a third Champions League crown in a row for the Spanish giants. Immediately after the match, Bale put Europe’s biggest clubs on high alert by revealing he wants to play more often and could be set to exit the Bernabeu this summer.
“I need to be playing week in, week out and that has not happened this season,” Bale told BT Sport. “I had an injury five, six weeks in but I’ve been fit ever since. I have to sit down with my agent in the summer and discuss it.”
Bale appeared deep in thought as he got out his car with finacee Emma Rhys-Jones and his two children at the paediatric clinic. Little Axel is now three weeks old – with wife-to-be Emma cradling the tot.
The winger is due to marry childhood sweetheart and mother to his three children this summer in a ceremony so secret his family say they don’t know key details. Real want a £200m transfer fee, while Bale is unlikely to take a pay cut from his £650,000-a-week he currently receives.
Old Trafford boss Mourinho has now told pals he doubts the Old Trafford hierarchy will pay so much money for a player who turns 29 this summer and has a history of injuries. This year is proving to be a huge one for Bale, 28, with his team top of Europe after their 3-1 victory over Liverpool, the birth of his third child this month and a possible return to the UK.
Any guesses where he’ll be playing next season?
