Meghan Markle wore a Goat dress at her first official royal appearance a garden party to celebrate Prince Charles’ 70th birthday, which is later this year. Newly married Meghan wore the brand’s Flavia dress in dusky pink, which cost £590, and predictably, it sold out within minutes. Being a duchess, Meghan had the dress tailored to fit her like a glove. Royal fashion fans even managed to crash the retailer’s site, causing it to be offline for 40 minutes.
The dress is made with 100% wool, with a silk lining, and a second acetate/polyester lining. Goat’s website describes the dress as: ‘beautifully fluid and feminine. This fit and flare shaped dress has contrast silk-chiffon décolletage and sleeves and delicate frayed edge trim on the neckline and cuffs. Perfect for both daytime or evening event dressing.’
