Sylvester Stallone’s ex wife, Brigitte Nielson gave birth to her fifth child last week, and has now shared the first image of the newborn. Looking ever the serene mother, the 54-year-old cradled her daughter, named Frida, in the adorable image posted to Instagram. The model, who is married to Mattia Dessi, looked down at her new bundle of joy as she was sat up in a hospital bed. Little Frida was sporting a white beanie as she was held close to her mother’s chest.
There was a massive bunch of lillies on the room’s couch, as well as balloons celebrating the little girl’s entrance to the world. Brigitte said: ‘Our precious little Frida, our true love.’ Fans were more than willing to coo over the little bambino as they congratulated the mother. ‘Congratulations on the birth of your beautiful daughter! May you & your family know nothing but love,’ one said, as another added: ‘Huge congratulations to you both xxxx what a beautiful name.’
Little Frida was born Friday 22 June and in a statement the couple told People magazine: ‘We are overjoyed to welcome our beautiful daughter into our lives. ‘It’s been a long road, and so worth it. We’ve never been more in love.’ The reality TV star is already mother to four sons, 34-year-old Julian, whom she has with first husband Kasper Winding, 28-year-old Killian with Mark Gastineau, and 25-year-old Douglas and 23-year-old Raoul Jr., whom she has with fourth husband Raoul Mayer. The star announced her pregnancy news in two separate posts on Instagram last month, which showed off her burgeoning baby bump, already well into her third trimester. On one, she wrote: ‘family getting larger #me #family #brigittenielsen #babybump (sic)’
