Aaron Armstrong, the boyfriend of Love Island star Sophie Gradon, has died. Armstrong was found dead at his home in Blyth in the early hours of Tuesday, Chronicle Live reports.
‘At around 12.20pm on July 10 police received a report from the ambulance service that a 25-year-old man had been found deceased at a property on Furnace Road in Bebside, Blyth. ‘There is not believed to be any third party involvement and a report will now be prepared for the coroner.’ Sophie Gradon died in June at the age of 32.
Tributes on his Facebook page read: ‘You can be with her now ..R.I.P Aaron.’ Another comment said: ‘RIP Aaron your now at rest with your angel sophie’. Former Love Island star Malin Andersson tweeted: ‘RIP Aaron. What a tragedy. You’re with Soph now.’
Sophie’s funeral was held at St George’s Church in Jesmond, Newcastle and was a private affair for just family and close friends. At the time, Aaron shared a moving tribute to his girlfriend on Instagram. Sharing a picture of the order of service, he wrote: ‘I love you with all my heart my beautiful angel I’m absolutely heartbroken I can’t stop crying and I can feel your spirit in my soul RIP Sophie Hannah Gradon.’
