Nicki Minaj has compared herself to the controversial Conservative Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher. In a bizarre move, the chart-topping star claimed her willingness to ruffle a few feathers was similar to Britain’s first female leader. During her Beats 1 radio show, the Chun Li rapper said: ‘Everyone has to express their truth, and I have to ruffle a few feathers along the way. I don’t care.’ Not only does she not care about her controversies, she wants people to know that she’s a queen. And that sometimes, they need to do things they don’t want to. ‘Shout out to Margaret Thatcher,’ she continued proudly. ‘Sometimes queens and women of power have to do things that even they aren’t happy about doing, but they know it’s for the betterment of what’s to come and who’s to come.’
Nicki certainly appears to have courted controversy as of late. Travis Scott, his girlfriend Kylie Jenner and their baby, Stormi, got the brunt of her ire after she accused the pair of using their star rep to unfairly boost Travis’ album sales, keeping it at the top spot. The 35-year-old called Scott ‘Hoe N***** of the Week by a landslide’ and called him ‘autotune man’ in her latest rant.
