The Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, Anambra State Command, Mr John Ahwen, is dead. He passed away at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital, Awka after a brief illness.
Gov. Willie Obiano while signing the condolence register commiserated with the family of the late commandant, officers and men of the Corps and Nigeria at large.
Until his death, the Late Commandant was part and parcel of the successes recorded in the Anambra State Security architecture. We will greatly miss him.
May his soul rest in peace – Amen.
