D’Tigress forward Evelyn Akhator is delighted at Nigeria’s big win against Turkey on Sunday at the FIBA Women’s World Cup in Spain, and she hopes the triumph can inspire the team to more wins, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
D’Tigress lost their first Group B game 86-68 to Australia last Saturday. The Otis Hughley’s girls rallied back to win their second group game 74-68 with Akhator bagging 13 points and 10 rebounds in the game.

It was Nigeria’s first win in the group stages at the FIBA Women’s World Cup, and a Happy calls for more support ahead of their next game against Argentina.
