Singer, songwriter, record producer, and entrepreneur Kanye West has announced that he is now to be known as ‘YE’. He made the announcement on twitter ahead of his album Yandhi which will be dropping in few hours time.
Making the announcement on Twitter, Kanye West wrote;
“The being formally known as Kanye West,” he tweeted. “I am YE.”
Kanye will be releasing his new album Yandhi later on Saturday to correspond with his appearance on Saturday Night Live. Although the name ‘YE’ has been Kanye’s longtime nickname, the rapper has officially made it his real name as against the nickname it was known for.
