Even though the rerun election in Osun state has been largely peaceful so far, it has not no gone without major incidents. It was reported that at Ward 8, unit 3, Kajola village in Orolu local government area, voters were stranded as hoodlums prevented them from accessing their polling units.
The alleged thugs harassment is said to have happened the presence of security operatives who did nothing.
Orolu local government is allegedly the stronghold of the PDP.
Independent observers have also complained of being prevented from accessing the polling unit by policemen.
No reason was given on why they were prevented from doing so.
