Few hours ago, two military planes, rehearsing for the 2018 Independence Day celebration, crashed after colliding with each other in Abuja. The accident happened around Kubwa road, near Mpape.One of the the pilots was rescued and taken to the hospital. It was claimed that a senior pilot died in the accident, a report the Nigerian air force refuted.

AIRFORCE STATEMENT ON AIRCRAFT INCIDENT IN ABUJA
I wish to confirm an air incident involving 2 Nigerian Air Force aircraft taking part in the rehearsals for the 58th Independence Day Celebrations.
