Some suspected cult members have killed a young man after attacking him in Rivers state. The incident was said to have happened in Egbeda community in the Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State on Tuesday.
The victim was alleged to be a member of the Icelanders cult group notorious for killing and beheading victims in the area. He was gruesomely killed by yet-to-be identified attackers and his corpse dumped in a bush.
Just last week, some cult members have killed a 90-year-old man after setting his house ablaze.
The victim, who was identified as Assor Woke, was killed in his house by the assailants.
Sources said the incident caused panic in the community as indigenes could not ascertain the reason the old man was killed.
