Ace striker and the Captain Of APC United, Lagos State (Governor),Akinwumi Ambodenho has confirmed his fitness for the all-important Lagos State El Classico (Primary Election) scheduled to hold tomorrow. Ambodenho, who made this known during his Pre Match Press Conference ahead of Tomorrow’s El Classico has been having a rough time with the President Of APC United, Asiwaju Tinubu Ahmedinho in recent time.
Ahmedinho Tinubu has said Ambodenho doesn’t play to instruction and as a Captain, he has not been able to coordinate the team well and that has led to difficulties in winning all their matches in recent times. Ahmedinho has indirectly asked Ambodenho to tender his transfer request (leave APC) or ready to submit his Captain armband (not running for 2nd term) as the club will no longer cope with his unwillingness to adhere to coach’s instruction. In the midst of the unhealthy atmosphere in the dressing room, Ahmedinho has negotiated with a youngster; a prolific and orthodox striker, Sanwo-Oluson as a perfect replacement for Ambodenho.
In his prematch press conference, Ambodenho said he is going to play aggressively, noting that his opponent; Sanyo-Oluson is an injury-prone (Mentally ill) striker who poses no threat to his victory. He also said that Ahmedinho has recruited hooligans to cause upset Tomorrow but he is not bordered.
