A young boy has been left injured after being allegedly maltreated by his guardian in Benue state. According to reports, the six year old boy was beaten badly by his guardian who brought him from the village to live with her in Benue.
It was gathered that the guardian was angry with the boy for misplacing his exercise books at the school and hence, decided to punish him in a brutal way to ‘teach him a lesson’.
Pictures of the boy and his injured body, have been circulated online.
