No matter how rampant cheating and unfaithfulness has become, it remains totally wrong.
Even if it seems to be a behavioural pattern that has seeped deep into the [im]moral fabric of the society, it is still supposed to be spat upon.

Apart from the above reasons listed, people also cheat because there is a lack of appreciation, lack of intimacy, and insecurity.
