This is quite disheartening. The corpse of a new baby has been recovered from a well after it was reportedly dumped there by the mother who is yet to be apprehended.
According to reports, a neighbour raised an alarm after sighting the baby’s corpse floating in the well.
Residents gathered at the scene and brought out the body from the well with a bucket as onlookers reportedly broke down in tears.
The incident happened recently in the northern part of Nigeria, as Facebook user Musa Adamu who shared the report, didn’t give the exact locality of the incident.
It was scooped that efforts are being made to apprehend the baby’s mother.
