Raja Casablanca of Morocco head coach, Carlos Garrido, has acknowledged the quality of former African champions, Enyimba, but insists his side have what it takes to beat the People’s Elephant, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The North Africans will face their hosts in the CAF Confederation Cup quater-final, first leg clash at the Enyimba International Stadium, Aba today (Wednesday).
Enyimba who are looking to become the first Nigerian club to win the competition beat Rwanda’s Rayon Sports 5-1 on aggregate in the second round.
Usman Abdallah’s men also remain unbeaten at home in the competition this year with four wins and a draw.
And Garrido is expecting a tough game against their opponent who head into the game in buoyant mood following two wins and one draw in the Aiteo Federation Cup group games last week.
“Our game against Enyimba will be very tough as they have been getting very positive results in the tournament. However, I belive my players have the mental capacity to fight the battle as we are in the crucial semi-final stage,” Garrido told reporters ahead of the game.
The game will kick-off at 2pm Nigerian time.
