Super Eagles midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo, missed out of action for the third consecutive game for Stoke City who recorded a 1-0 away win against Bristol City in an English Championship clash on Saturday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Etebo, trained with his teammates prior to today’s (Saturday) game, but was not deemed fit enough for a place in the matchday squad.
The combative midfielder who linked up with the Potters from Portuguese side, CD Feirense in May has made 11 appearances for the club in the Championship this season.
Former Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher got the decisive goal for Gary Rowett’s men in the 33rd minute.
In another Championship clash, Semi Ajayi played for 90 minutes in Rotherham United 1-1 away draw with Preston North End.
The centre- back has featured in all of Rotherham United’s 15 Championship matches so far this season.
Tom Barkhuizen put the hosts ahead five minutes before the break, while Micheal Smith equalised for Rotherham United five minutes before the half hour mark.
