Super Eagles forward, Alex Iwobi has been nominated for Arsenal’s September player of the month award, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Iwobi is up against Petr Cech, Alexander Lacazette and Lucas Torreira.
The 22 year old Nigeria international was impressive for Arsenal in the month of September, setting up Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s opener against Vorskla in the UEFA Europa League which the Gunners won 4-2.
He also made a game-changing impact off the bench against Watford in the English Premier League.
He has scored one goal in six games this season in all competitions.
Iwobi is fourth, at the time of this report, in the poll with just 10% according to Arsenal’s official website.
Lacazette leads with 61% while Cech and Torreira have 15% and 14% respectively.
