Khloe Kardashian is focused on her daughter True. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is apparently keeping her eyes on the prize – the prize being her daughter, that is – amid simmering chatter she’s ‘over’ Tristan Thompson.
With the Cavaliers basketballer based in Cleveland, it’s been reported the reality star has no intention of leaving her cushy base in Los Angeles to return to her babydaddy’s city. It comes after Tristan was accused of cheating on Khloe when, just days before she went into labour with the couple’s first child, video emerged of him kissing other women. So we can see her hesitation.
A source told People magazine: ‘She very much seems over Tristan. Not sure how they went from fine to being apart for weeks, but Khloé is doing great. It’s amazing to see what a great mom she is and how much she enjoys it. She is very much just focused on the happy things in her life. True, of course, makes her the happiest. ‘It doesn’t seem to bother her that she isn’t with Tristan in Cleveland. She seems to know what she wants in her life right now.
And it definitely doesn’t seem like she wants to be with Tristan.’ Meanwhile, Khloe alluded to trouble in a series of Instagram posts recently, then taking to her Stories, she encouraged fans to free themselves from ‘negative people’ and added ‘relationships should help you not hurt you.’ She wrote: ‘Life is too short to spend with people who suck the happiness out of you.’
The cheating claims and footage is still something the 34-year-old is ‘struggling with’ and who can blame her? ‘Khloe has seemed emotional. Her feelings about Tristan cheating is something that she is still dealing with,’ a source recently to PEOPLE. ‘She has good weeks when she is fine about it and weeks when she is upset about it. It’s of course difficult to trust someone 100 percent who cheated days before he was about to become a dad.
