Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho welcomed the Thai footballers who were trapped in a cave to Carrington today.
The 12 youngsters – aged between 11 and 16 – and their coach spent 17 days underground before being saved by an international effort.
Old Trafford chiefs were quick to extend an invitation to the brave kids, who play for the Wild Boars.
Mourinho hugged each member of the team before posing for photos at United’s training ground.
Ander Herrera, Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial, Ashley Young, Andreas Pereira and Fred were also on hand in a brilliant experience for the beaming kids.
They are expected to attend the Premier league match with Everton at Old Trafford tomorrow in addition to today’s visit.
The kids, who did brilliantly to survive their ordeal, have also appeared on Ellen Degeneres’ talk show alongside former United star Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
After being rescued, the footie-mad Thais joked they thought they had dug to England after a British diver brought them food 10 days in.
Coach Ekkapol Chantawong, 25, known as Ake, said the lads tried to dig to safety when they realised they were trapped.
The boys all laughed and agreed with the only English speaker among them, Adun Sam-On, 14, telling how he yelled out “hello” when two Brit divers found them deep inside the Tham Luang cave.
