Two factions of Nigeria’s supporters club fought at the airport in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state yesterday over travelling arrangements to Tunisia. Nigeria will play Libya in the second leg of the African Nations Cup qualifier in Sfax, Tunisia today following a 4-0 victory over the weekend in Uyo.

According to reports, the factions of the prince Vincent Okumagba and fractions of president General Dr Rafiu Ladipo, engaged in a heavy contention over allocated slots for the supporters club.

It was gathered that fifteen slots were given to the supporters club by the Nigerian football federation.

The two aggrieved factions decided to fight literally for the slots.

The contention got heated up and turned into verbal and physical assaults in the airport. A video posted online shows the heated fight between the football fans. Watch below;
