Nwankwo Dedicates Crotone’s Goal Vs Salernitana To Daughter

Super Eagles forward, Simeon Nwankwo, has dedicated his goal in his Italian outfit, Crotone’s 1-1 draw against Salernitana to his little daughter, Belmira, reports Completesportsnigeria. com.

Nwankwo grabbed the equalising goal for Crotone five minutes from time, his second goal of the campaign for the Pythagoreans.

The 26-year-old started the game from the bench and came in for Adrain Stoian in the 73rd minute of the encounter.
It was Nwankwo’s ninth league appearance for Crotone who were relegated to the Serie B last season.

Nwankwo who was part of Nigeria’s squad to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia
welcomed his first child to the world on October 19.

“First goal for my princess. Thanks for bringing a new meaning and direction to our lives, we love you,” Nwankwo posted on Instagram.

Nwankwo was omitted from the Super Eagles squad
for last month’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double-header against Libya.

He was not included in the squad for next month’s AFCON qualifier against South Africa and friendly against Cranes of Uganda.
