Former Super Eagles head coach, Sunday Oliseh, has praised his former club Juventus for their solid showing in Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League 1-0 win against Manchester United at the Old Trafford, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

Paulo Dybala scored the decisive goal in the 17th minute as Juventus recorded their third consecutive victory in Group H.

The Serie A champions dominated the game as the Red Devils struggled in vain to salvage a share of the spoils at home.

Massimiliano Allegri’s side sit at the summit of Group H with the maximum nine points from three games.

Oliseh, 44, who played for the Turin club during the 1999-2000 season tipped them as favourites to win the competition this season.

“Totally unwise to bet against C. Ronaldo & Juventus this Champions league. Just simply completely solid and full of creativity. 3 games played, 2 away but 9 full points. Blaise Matuidi & Miralem Pjanić were just Outstanding!!,” Oliseh tweeted on his Twitter handle.

After league meetings against Empoli and Cagliari, Juventus will host Manchester United at the Allianz Stadium for the return fixture on November 7.
